This is part of the role
As our IT Security Specialist with focus on AppSec, you will be part of the team in Nordnet that supports, educates and test our business to ensure that we are secure enough to handle any cybersecurity threats thrown at us. As we are striving towards a red team / blue team model your tasks will vary, acting as both attacker and defender of security.
You will be a key role in developing, implementing and operating the IT security capabilities that we need to prevent, detect and manage all relevant cybersecurity threats and incidents.
One of the key functions of the role will be to actively detect and analyse cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities as well as to coordinate and manage the efforts to mitigate the findings.
This is a central function for all Nordic countries where you will be reporting to the IT Security Manager at Nordnet Bank AB.
This is you
To be successful in this role we believe that you have an education within the IT security area and also a few years of working experience with IT security. You are passionate about cybersecurity, mainly on a development layer but also the underlying technical infrastructure.
You are structured and analytical, focusing on quality in the details but with a holistic and approach to security, focusing on the needs of the business and our customers.
You have amazing communication skills; you need to be able to communicate on a technical level with techies at the same time that you need to explain cybersecurity on a business level to management. You need a pragmatic and smart approach to solving security challenges, yet have a high integrity and be assured in your competence and knowledge.
We also require that you speak and write English fluently, Swedish is not mandatory but definitely a plus.
