Every day, companies like Volvo Group, are facing millions of attacks. In Cybersecurity function and the Cyber defense center (CDC), we always want to be ahead of hackers and cyber criminals. We are persistently working on mitigating security breaches and violations. In the CDC you will be a part to assist in meet the global challenges of keeping one of the largest companies in the world secure from vulnerabilities. We believe that you are an enthusiastic, innovative team member with the right attitude.
About the team
CDC consists of ten persons and ensure that information assets in IT services, infrastructure and business applications are protected from being attacked, e.g. stolen, compromised or made unavailable where the department has a clear central role in governing IT security. The mission for the CDC team is to be a part of the protection of digital information why we also need to communicate enterprise wide. We believe that the key to our success is daring to challenge our current ways of working and having fun while doing it.
This is how you could make an impact
This position is in the existing vulnerability management team where we see that you will possess a strong technical and security background. You will support enterprise security applications, infrastructure and services and have a drive to learn our complex environment, but also want to teach others in the organization how to identify, manage and reduce vulnerabilities based on consistent and clear reporting. You will work within a fast paced, agile environment collaborating with different stakeholders across Volvo group. These will be some selected responsibilities:
Support the organization in performing vulnerability assessments and continuously monitor the vulnerability management domain across the organization
Monitor and report on progress towards vulnerability measurements
Drive vulnerability management governance foras with different stakeholders
Manage and oversee the vulnerability reporting process
Maintain vulnerability management requirements on the organization and collaborate and support
Create and life cycle manage measurements, standards and procedures for vulnerabilities

You are interested in understanding and remediating vulnerabilities
You stay up to date with current vulnerabilities and vulnerability related news in various industries
You have a broad understanding and experience within IT-security
You have professional experience working with vulnerability management and processes
You are experienced with vulnerability scanners (e.g. Qualys, Tenable)
You are experienced working with vulnerability scanning in cloud environments
You communicate in a good way to be able to interact with different stakeholders across the Volvo group
