This is a chance to take part of an important area within the Volvo Group. We are a team of 9 persons (soon 10, with you) working with Cyber Security for IT. Joining our skilled team you get an opportunity to work close together with passionate colleagues in a global context, which will develop you both on a personal and professional level. In this role you work in close collaboration with various stakeholders inside the Volvo Group as well as with Volvo Group partners and suppliers.
Our department has a central governing role in the Cyber Security area, with a standpoint from protecting the Volvo Group's information assets in the IT environment.

What will you do as an IT Security Architect at Group IT Risk & Security?
Well, primarily you will develop and learn a lot. You will contribute to increase knowledge within our organisation about how to develop secure solutions from start. You will also contribute to securing the Volvo Group's future new technologies like IoT and Cloud solution in the IT landscape - together with your amazing colleagues. More than that, your mission will be to work proactively supporting the organization to solve the issues related to cyber security in the IT landscape.
You will play a key role in developing our existing framework and ways of working towards securing the new software development and new technologies in the cyber security area. Our department is one of two groups within the IT Risk & Security unit. We work across the whole Volvo Group and report to the Volvo Group CIO.

Who are you?
Since we don't know you, yet we probably don't have everything right when describing what we believe is your background. But we imagine that you have the following or similar background:
Some years of experience working with solution architecture
Great interest in cyber security
It is beneficial if you have experience in IoT, and Cloud architecture
You will drive development and lead functional areas which involve communication on different levels and areas of the organization. Therefore, it is important that you are highly skilled in communication, both verbal and written
Your interest in emerging technologies as well as the will and the drive to contribute to the development of methods and tools in order to cope with future challenges in our area will be a great benefit to us. As you are professional as well as trustworthy with a high focus on quality, you will fit in perfect in our group.
