The capabilities and competencies within the IT Security team are, and will be, key for reaching our goals and ambitions. So, we are now looking for additional team members in positions as Security Operations Center Analyst, IT Security Architect, Product Security Manager and OT Security Manager. These roles together with the IT Security Governance Manager will join us on our journey to build the best Cybersecurity team.
Your mission
The mission for our IT Security Governance Manager is to ensure we have a broad and in-depth general security awareness amongst our staff, that our IT policies, processes and tools are continuously updated in order to explain and determine how we as a company shall protect our business. The mission also includes how to ensure we continuously identify cyber security risks and that our cybersecurity risk ledger is always up to date.
In this role you will report to our Global IT Security Manager and will also work closely with the Information Security team.
Some of the responsibilities you will have as an IT Security Governance Manager:
* Ensure that the Security Awareness program include what is needed at different levels and in different roles and get the desired impact from all related activities and initiatives.
* Ensure that changes to IT security policies and procedures are timely communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
* Contribute to populate and maintain the Information Security Management System - the parts that effect the Epiroc IT organization.
* Plan, support and drive needed cybersecurity actions as an outcome from internal compliance reviews & audits and external audits.
* Identify cybersecurity risks and keep an updated cybersecurity risk ledger (together with the Information Security team).
* Respond to and regularly follow up status to different cybersecurity benchmarks that Epiroc measure and compare our operations to.
Your profile
For this role we are looking for you who have demonstrated consulting skills, with IT Security concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design.
You embrace and lead change effectively and cultivate an environment of security driven thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Strong understanding of security best practices and solid market understanding of industry trends for cybersecurity, risk & threat intelligence and governance.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English.
Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, like ISO 27001/27002, NIST, SOGP, CoBiT, ITIL, GDPR.
As for your personal skills we are looking for someone who is goal orientated, a fast learner and eager to learn along the way. You are able to adopt new
technologies and tools when needed, open-minded to enjoy intellectual sparring and knowledge sharing.
We would also like you to be empathic with a respectful attitude towards others and not afraid of asking questions and dare to develop yourself and others by welcoming new ways of thinking.

This position can be located in one of our Regional IT hubs (Santiago, Garland, Johannesburg, Bangalore, Nanjing, Perth, Prague or Örebro)
