About the position
Here at Perido we are now helping our client Axel Johnson International to find an IT Technician to be a part of the IT projects team. Axel Johnson International is successfully investing in innovation and continuous improvement. They develop IT applications, mobile solutions, and data warehouses in new and modern technology. This position is based at their headquarter, located in the center of Stockholm. Some international travel may occur.
Your daily tasks
As an IT Technician at the IT projects team, you will be working on planned projects and implementing project tasks, with emphasize on preparing and performing migrations and integration of IT infrastructure. In your daily work you will communicate with internal customers during projects and be involved in the planning and improvement of systems and services within an IT environment servicing 5000 users in 30+ countries.
As mentioned, you will work with implementation of project tasks as agreed within the project office and follow up on assigned tasks to keep deadlines. Further on, you will contribute to project planning by mapping and identifying necessary requirements. You will also keep other project resources updated on progress as well as document the delivered solution. When necessary, you escalate issues. Depending on your skills, the role might also include other responsibilities within the IT team.
Your qualifications
To succeed as IT Technician, we believe that you are confident within your IT expertise and that you have great planning skills and the ability to communicate and follow up on planned activities. It's just as easy for you to provide great technical support onsite as it is remotely. It's required that you can work independently in a structured way on tasks given, but at the same time be a person that works well within an international team environment. Your personality will be very important for the position. Requirements
Relevant education
A few years work experience in a similar role
Good knowledge and experience with:
• Microsoft 365
• Windows 10
• Printing Solutions
• Networks
Project management skills
Sound troubleshooting
A willingness and ability to travel within Europe depending on demand
Good level of written and spoken English and the ability to communicate well
Meritorious
Ability to communicate in European languages other than English (Swedish / French / German / Dutch / Polish)
Skills within other IT related areas such as:
• Desktop and server operating systems in general
• Communication devices
• SQL Server
• Active Directory
• Azure
• Cybersecurity
Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years working with relevant tasks
Experience of Legacy systems and applications, and translation to modern technology/solutions
Contract type and hours
Full time. Consulting assignment for 6 months with Perido, then permanent employment at Axel Johnson International. Start according to agreement.
