hela Sverige The Group IT Project Portfolio Management Team is looking for a Portfolio Manager & Analyst to support the Nordic and Common IT Portfolio on Group IT level.
Group IT is a small and lean unit that is supporting the CIO in Strategy, Governance, Processes, Architecture & Security as well as Portfolio Management, Asset Management and Sourcing.
The IT Project Portfolio Management Team owns the Portfolio and the Project Management (VPMM for IT) processes and tools and together with Group Finance follows up on IT investments. Through portfolio and project reporting it supports Business in the steering and value capture of their IT Portfolio. Furthermore the team works with the IT PM Community and secures standards and best practices are applied in IT Projects.
Main responsibilities:
We are looking for an IT Project Portfolio Manager & Analyst to support the Nordic and Common IT portfolios. He/she will have the following responsibilities:
• Cooperate with Business and support in their Portfolio Management Process
• Support the Nordic and Common BIO in the Business Planning and the Planning Process
• Analyse and follow up on value creation within the whole and specifically Nordic and Common IT Portfolio on your own and together with Group Finance
• Cooperate with IT Architecture & Security, IT Procurement and IT Control in performing reviews on selected IT investments in the Nordic and Common IT Portfolio
• Participate in all tasks assigned to the team as well as cooperation and alignment in all matters. Contribute to different topics related to the Service Offerings managed in the IT PPM team.
Skills necessary for this role include a sharp Business sense and Change Management competence. A basic understanding and interest in IT is important to get the respect from the organization and to be able to understand the challenges that are related to transforming an IT-organization from technology focused to Business oriented. Good operational leadership skills in all its dimensions, from engaging people in joint efforts when this is right, to showing personal courage and pretty much alone taking decisions and giving clear directions, are key.
A successful candidate will have to have a sound balance between analytical thinking and Business sense. Special attention will be given to his/her ability to discuss Business performance issues with a variety of Business leaders on all levels, from CIO, BIOs and BU Heads to team leaders.
Having worked successfully as a Project Manager or in a Senior Staff position managing to create measurable Business value for line organizations are other key characteristics that a successful candidate needs to display. In addition being an elaborate self-starter, a distinctive problem-solver and an excellent team player is essential.
Fluent English skills, written as well as spoken, are a prerequisite for this job.
Location: Arenastaden Solna. Travel between Vattenfall locations will be required.
