As our next IM Project Manager Applications, you will contribute to realize successful IT projects that improve our application landscape.
You will

You will work with projects within the scope of business applications and ERP and be part of the globally operating IM Project Management Organization. Our technical landscape comprises to a large extend of applications based on the SAP platform (ERP, GRC, EH&S, GRC, Ariba, VIM, FSCM, SuccessFactors, Concur), as well as Microsoft (CRM, O365, Azure), ServiceNow, WebMethods, Arkieva and Prometheus, amongst others.
You will report to the Manager PMO, as well as having a functional reporting lines with Business Information Managers. As an IM Project Manager you are end-to-end responsible for the successful delivery of projects, managing different types of project teams within the boundaries of agreed scope, quality, time and cost.
Other tasks and responsibilities:
• As an IM Project Manager you have full responsibility for initiating, planning and executing of IT projects with a focus on changing and improving business applications
• Involve and collaborate with stakeholders from different businesses and global functions
• Liaise with senior management, lead project team resources and (IT) suppliers
• Align with other roles in the IM function and track progress against often challenging deadlines and budgets
• Be involved with work related to test; both automated and manual
You are
A positive attitude and an inclusive approach to building partnerships is needed to be successful in this position. We also believe that you are organized and self-motivated, used to working with deadlines and able to be a good motivator of teams. You should also have demonstrated leadership qualities such as conflict and issue resolution, with highly developed influencing skills, ensuring delivery of project goals while respecting stakeholders and team members. Strong communication skills are important, offline as well as online, meaning you should be comfortable with interactions at all levels of management. As an experienced and independent person, you are of course self-going and self-driven.
We expect you to have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience working within IT project delivery environments, of which you have worked 3-5 years as end-responsible IT Project Manager of application related projects, preferably international. Experience with SAP and SAP related project management is also required for this position. Knowledge of and experience with test management and proven experience working with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external IT suppliers is also needed. Other important parts are to have knowledge of and demonstrated experience with project management methodologies such as Prince2 or PMBoK (PMI) as well as Agile ways-of-working. Experience with ServiceNow is an advantage and experience in the chemicals business is considered a bonus. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
