We are looking for a Project Manager with excellent leadership skills to Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Competence Center, a Center of Excellence that supports sections & functions within H&M's IT department with highly skilled professional IT resources. The division Infrastructure & Operations serves H&M globally and is responsible to manage and follow-up on all daily operations. Furthermore I&O is involved in all stages of H&Ms IT services' lifecycles to ensure operational readiness.
In your role you will work with leaders and stakeholders across the I&O organization to ensure project deliverables are clearly identified, defined, documented and delivered within the agreed timeline and budget. You will lead complex projects working in dynamic teams. You will drive initiatives throughout the IT-department, which includes everything from running one-person projects to global projects involving our global divisions, 3rd party suppliers and/or off-shore resources.
To succeed in this role, you have experience leading varying sizes and set-ups of project teams, groups or initiatives, local and global; you have a genuine interest in technology; and you are business minded. You have ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage unclear prerequisites. You have a genuine interest and curiosity for developing other people.
Our activity-based office is located close to the water in Marievik.
Your responsibilities
The job of IT Project Manager at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun.
Your to do-list includes:
• Successful planning, execution, monitoring and closing of I&O-projects according to agreed project goals, way of working, time and budget
• Running pre-studies with various levels of complexity; development, implementation, procurement (services as well as products), sourcing and service delivery projects; as well as rollout and transition projects
• Leading, coaching and developing others by delegating, competence transfer and mentoring.
• Build and maintain relationships with many different stakeholders, within both business and IT
• Participate in continuous improvement together with PMO, I&O division, IT organization as a whole and our business
• Around 5-8 years' experience working as a Project Manager within a variety of types and complexity of projects
• Excellent leadership skills with a business-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in English and Swedish
• Experience of executing projects using standard or well-known project management methodologies like PPS, PROPS, Waterfall or other agile practices
• Knowledge of IT Governance and ITIL
• Overall knowledge and understanding of developing and operating technical solutions
