hela Sverige The IT project manager role requires some technical background, experience or understanding of technology within IT infrastructure.
Plan the project (IT)
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
Determine the required resources.
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities in a manner appropriate to a matrix engineer organization.
Implement the project within (IT)
Manage the project according to the project plan and the scope of work.
Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
Manage the progress of the project to ensure the successful completion of the project within the agreed scope, schedule and budget.
On a weekly basis update all senior manager including appropriate staff in the organisation on the progress of the project; in the event of a major issue bring it to the attention of management as soon as possible
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
Escalate any project changes to the projects board.
Control the project (IT)
Provide reports on the project for management.
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date (Optional)
Manage the project to the scope of work and recognize any out of scope activities as an opportunity for a contract change order.
Evaluate the project (IT)
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project continually
Provide a report of any "lessons learned" as appropriate
