This is us, your new colleagues
Technology is a new function within Volvo Group Digital & IT with a purpose to modernize Volvo's core digital backbone, making it a platform for digital products, but at the same time also perform - keeping services and capabilities up and running to ensure business deliveries exceed competitors.
We are two agile IT teams working with Virtual Manufacturing in a scaled agile setup. Our agile teams include Product Owner, Scrum Master, IT Solution Architects, Software developers, Solution Engineers and Business Analysts to develop and maintain solutions that meet Volvo needs.
The team's purpose is to develop simulation tools for how our production is prepared and executed. In other words, the group builds simulations in order to create more efficient and sustainable production.

Key areas and responsibilities in your role as a business analysts:
Advise and decide the best digital & IT solutions for digital transformation projects and products.
Have a key role for a successful digital transformation processes and drive efficient and effective process improvements in manufacturing engineering.
Advisory and support to stakeholders to gather and identify their needs and problems and what solution would best address them.
Assist stakeholders build a roadmap of the digital transformation projects, implement valuable pieces of work in a logical sequence, and ensure that they can get value at each implementation.
Work closely and lead with core business representatives, UI/UX experts, Architects to understand expectations and work towards making the transformations as seamless as possible for the business.
Be part of the digital team and play an active role in Volvo 's digital transformation
Work closely with Virtual Manufacturing to drive system improvements and automatization of the Manufacturing for Body In White processes.
Daily collaboration takes place with production, construction and other functions to create stable production processes.
Create and maintain an efficient relationship with all stakeholders of digital projects and products.
Who are you?
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Manufacturing or Computer Science.
Experience in IT digitalization, process management, requirement management.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience and at least 2 years of experience working as a Product Owner across multiple teams
Experience and an understanding of PLM, CAD and 3D visualization and understand the possibilities with collaboration and virtual product data in a PLM tool, preferably Dassault 3DX.
You have a continuous improvement mindset and work proactively.
Ability to express business needs
A business-like approach and broad insight into different types of operations.
You will need to have knowledge from manufacturing processes, preferable in the automotive business.
Experience of agile way of working.
Fluent in English is a must.
You like to work in the intersection between business, technology and user experience, and tend to have a major contribution in the quality processes of the products and services. As a person you define your product story and prioritize and decides tasks for your team to facilitate execution. Always, you are looking to maximize the value of the product and the work of the Development Team in an agile environment.
