IT Process Owner

Service Management Office (SMO) is the staff function within Service Development & Operations and will lead key strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency, simplification and globalisation of IT service delivery. SMO will have a key role in the future by leading the transformation of Service Development and Operations towards end-to-end IT services. SMO is also responsible for processes, project framework and maintenance model and to support within these areas.

As IT Process Owner you will be accountable for the dedicated ITIL processes mainly within Service Transition and Service Operation. The process owner is accountable for ensuring that the processes are fit for purpose and ensuring that the processes are performed according to the agreed and documented standards and meets the aim of the process definition and quality demands. The Process Owner is also responsible for identifying improvements to ensure that the process continues to be effective and efficient. This means interfacing with many stakeholders within Group IT and their suppliers.

Main responsibilities

• Define the process strategy
• Accountable for the process design
• Accountable for the process implementation and integration within the organisation and with suppliers
• Ensure that the process is performed in accordance with the agreed and documented process
• Accountable for documenting and publishing the process
• Define and review the measurement of the process using metrics such as key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Accountable for continues process improvement activities
• Maintain Process stakeholder map and communication plan
• Manage Process communication to all stakeholders
• Accountable for developing training material and performing training in the process and/or procedures

Required qualifications

• University degree or equivalent
• ITIL V3 Foundation Certified and ITIL Lifecycle or Capability Certified for Service Transition and Service Operation
• Preferable ITIL Lifecycle or Capability Certified for Service Strategy and Service Design
• 5+ years work experience in ITIL processes
• Demonstrated capability in designing processes, workflows or similar
• Work experience from multi sourced global environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
