We are developing an head-to-tail platform for Deep Learning including a comprehensive marketplace.
Role description
As IT Operations Lead at Peltarion you will have the chance to work with cutting edge technology and artificial intelligence. You will have an operational responsibility for the team as well as develop and implement new routines regarding operation, backups, replication and on call activity.
The main target for the role is to ensure that Peltarion's platform, marketplace and the development environments are up and running in all availability zones where we are operating. You will be hands on in setting up the infrastructure and work in close cooperation with our development team and platform architect on a daily basis. In addition your areas of responsibility will include network communication as well as purchasing hardware.
Requirements
To be successful in the role we see that you have at least 5 years of experience working with IT Operations as a NOC and/or network technician supervising critical systems. You have extensive experience leading a team during daily operations. In addition, experience setting up and maintaining a high availability services that handles large sets of data is essential.
This job is for you that prefer building something from the ground up rather than managing an existing system. As a person you are communicative, comfortable taking a lead role and elevate your team. You embracing of change, flexible and passionate about new technology.
Technical requirements
• Well versed in Linux, Ubuntu & Debian
• Databases, PostgreSQL/MySQL
• Experience using Salt
• Programming skills in Perl, Python & Bash
• Cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure or GCP
In addition, the following areas give additional merit
• Operating large scale GPU solutions
• Security
• Java
