About the position
In this role as IT Operations Engineer your primary work areas will be related to our Customers and our Production environments. You will work daily to handle escalations and troubleshoot cases that come in from our Support/Customer Success team.
We have a strong focus on automation, therefore a part of your position can be to identify recurring tasks and put in proper automation in place. You will be a part of our existing DevOps team where you will have the possibility to gain knowledge about the latest technologies and learn from a well experienced team.
To be successful in this role:
• You have previous experience from working with customer service/support.
• You have the knowledge to manage, operate and troubleshoot applications running on Linux.
• You have a great technical interest and what you do not know you are happy to learn.
• You are a natural problem solver who does not mind a challenge when it is given to you.
• Excellent communication skills.
Technologies you should have knowledge with:
• Linux (Debian)
• Nginx
• MariaDB / Mysql
• Cloud (Openstack / AWS)
• Networking (TCP/IP och HTTP)
• Log analysis toolings
