The mission of the Fläkt Woods IT & Systems (IT&S) organization is to provide a best-of-breed portfolio of standard systems that optimally support customer requirements, common business processes and best practices whilst being aligned with the business strategy in order to reach our growth and profitability targets.
The Swedish IT&S organisation supports operations at all Fläkt Woods' Swedish facilities, including production sites in Jönköping, Enköping and Järna and 16 regional sales offices.
As our IT & Systems Manager moves on to new challenges within the Group, we are looking to recruit his replacement.
Objectives of the position:
The IT&S Area Manager is responsible for leading the Swedish IT&S team, ensuring the effective delivery and development of IT&S services including local and global infrastructure, collaboration, MPS and ERP in accordance with Business needs and Fläkt Woods Group IT&S guidelines.
The position is based in Jönköping, reporting to the Group Vice President for IT & Systems.
Responsibilities
• Delivery of IT&S services according to defined service level agreements
• Continuous improvement of IT&S services, including the translation of business requirements into technology solutions
• Preparing and driving short and long term IT&S Plans and budgets
• Managing and developing infrastructure and development teams totalling 7 persons
• Overseeing/managing IT&S projects run out of Sweden (both Group and local projects), ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Contributing to the fulfilment of corporate IT&S visions and goals
• Active participation in the Corporate IT&S Management Team
• IT&S contract management
• Stakeholder management, where the primary customers are Swedish production and sales functions and suppliers are both internal and external service providers.
Profile
The successful candidate should be a person that:
• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience of IT&S Management within an industrial manufacturing environment
• Has proven experience of ERP development and governance, preferably Dynamics AX 2012
• Is a "doer" and is accustomed to working hands-on
• Has strong communication, social and leadership skills
• Is detail-orientated whilst maintaining focus on long-term goals
• Has a proven track record of managing complex projects
• Feels as comfortable in discussing business challenges as in resolving systems-related issues
• Has a proven track record of stakeholder management
• Has a university degree (engineer, systems analyst or equivalent)
• Skilled in both Swedish and English
