By applying for the IT & Strategy Talent Programme you can become 1 of 40 talents working towards that goal. Each of the 40 positions in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges. This is a two-year programme with a strong focus on your development. From the outset you'll have your own development plan which will be tailored towards a role suitable for you and include building blocks with learning goals towards that target. The focus is very much on learning by doing, and together with your manager you'll select different assignments and rotations where you'll participate in real projects, and contribute to fossil free living, at the same time as you get the experience you need to boost your development.

Your role as a Sustainability analyst under the Talent programme (junior profile)
In your role as Sustainability analyst, you will join the Sustainability team in its work to secure Vattenfall's position as a frontrunner in sustainability. To do this, you will primarily be supporting the Sustainable Supply chain team with assessments of suppliers, as well as putting together recommendations and training material for colleagues throughout the organization.

Who are you?
• Perform screenings and interpret audits of suppliers and partners to Vattenfall, including making recommendations to buyers, managers and relevant colleagues for how to progress.
• Support our buyers, employees, contractors and suppliers on sustainability and our supply chain practices by i.e. providing trainings
• Perform research and analysis on sustainability topics like Code of Conduct for suppliers and partners, target setting, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), valuation of social and environmental impacts, as well as ad hoc requests, identify sustainability gaps and improvement needs, focus on supply chain related activities, and implement related actions

As a Sustainability analyst you recognize yourself in the following:

• The ability to extract, synthesize, and convey relevant, understandable insights from very complex topics including judgement calls of social aspects
• Humility as a key element of your collaboration philosophy, coupled with a sense of determination
• A desire to have a positive impact on society as a core motivating principle
You are our ideal candidate if you have an academic degree in e.g sustainable science/development, legal studies in e.g. human rights and recently graduated. You are fluent in English. Skills in German, Dutch, Swedish and Chinese are a merit. You are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. And of course, you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.

Location
You will be working in the department Sustainable Supply chain within Staff Function Sustainability and the position is located either in Berlin, Amsterdam or Solna.

Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May/beginning of June. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the IT & Strategy Talent Programme will be September 1st 2022.
