The IT Support & Operations organization is responsible for three areas of Business and IT support: Global Business Support, Global Seco Service Desk and Global Operational Technology. Our role is to make sure that we support business with future-proof technology, best-in-class IT-support and a truly business-focused know-how support. Furthermore, we are accountable for the overall global roles of IT security, monitoring and ITIL process expertise; roles in which we work closely together with our colleagues in IT Demand & Development.
As we are entering an exciting phase of change and decentralization, we are now looking for someone who is passionate about all aspects of monitoring and collaboration to take on the position as Monitoring Lead and joining us in building this new organization.
Furthermore, you are an active member of the management team, and the location for this position is flexible at any of the following locations:
• Sweden - Please note that if you are based in Sweden, you are required to travel to our offices in Fagersta 2-3 days per week
• Troy/Detroit, USA
• Pune, India
• Erkrath, Germany
• Alcester, UK
• Shanghai, China
• Budapest, Hungary
Key performance areas
As Monitoring Lead, you act as a role model for the organization, where the department's slogan "Always Adding Value" is something you evangelize and continuously live by. A big part of your job is to lead a range of projects to stimulate and push change, and setting the strategy for Seco Tools' infrastructure and applications globally. You are responsible for overseeing and managing our server park and networks globally, as well as our applications to ensure all systems operate as intended. Furthermore, you identify areas that are in need of continuous improvements, and are accountable for lifecycle management (LCM) within your area of responsibility - ensuring that this area is well managed and under constant care and improvement. Contributing to setting strategies, roadmaps and a working structure for new and existing processes is also part of your mission.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with at least five years' experience from similar tasks, where deep knowledge of and experience from Microsoft Office 365 applications and solutions, and of Lotus Notes and the migration process to Office 365 is highly advantageous. Basic training in ITIL is also an added bonus. To be successful in this position, you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
