IT Manager - SGS Corporation
As the company continues to grow there is a need for a cohesive IT strategy, and in order to make sure this happens on a daily basis we are now looking for an IT Manager.
The core responsibilities and functions for the IT manager at SGSC will be:
1. Implement our IT strategy.
2. Make sure the company's IT platform supports our operational activities.
3. Web master for the SGSC website.
4. IT security within the company.
5. IT operations and support, including purchasing of IT equipment.
6. Consistent plan for supplier agreements, including selection criteria.
7. Develop new IT solutions.
8. IT hotline for the various operating countries.
9. Establish and follow through IT projects.
10. Quality Assurance of IT.
The basic skills and tasks required by the IT Manager will be:
1. Enjoys challenging projects and working in a busy environment.
2. Formal or informal IT background with several years of IT operational experience.
3. Project management and customer support experience.
4. Solution oriented.
5. Speaks and writes business English.
6. Enjoys working with computers more than anything.
7. Will enjoy working in a young and dynamic working environment.
8. Service minded and understands the importance of supporting the operational departments.
9. More focused on solving the problem than keeping time.
10. Innovative and open minded about learning.
11. Wants to be part of a rapidly growing international company.
12. Ability to work independently within guidelines and budgets.
