The main focus for the IT Manager is to manage and support the local requirements and IT ecosystems in cooperation with defined customers and partners. The role is based in Gothenburg (or southern Sweden) and act as a Team Lead for four local colleagues. Furthermore, the role involves contractual responsibility for external application consultants related to local services. You act as a link to service providers and Ruukki development programs and facilitate change requests raised from the organization.
Key responsibilities and tasks
• Responsible of IT Services in Scandinavia
• * Local Services in main sites: Järnforsen, Landsbro, Anderslöv, Göteborg and Oslo
• * Local Services in sales offices
• * Global Services towards Corporate IT
• Team lead for a local IT team
• Develop and maintain current IT ecosystems to ensure business continuation in a cost efficient way
• Capacity Management for external consultants based on business requirements
• Escalation point from Scandinavian business management
•
Qualifications and personality
• University degree
• Appropriate network / Vendor management skills
• Knowledge in service delivery processes (ITIL)
• Project management and implementation methods
• Excellent organizer with leadership and administrative skills
• Ability to act efficiently and autonomously in a matrix organization
• A coaching leadership and ability to communicate a vision and motivate and develop the team
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English and Swedish
The right candidate has a proven knowledge about IT infrastructure and business application services from a large corporation and has a genuine interest for developing business and a high level of performance management. In order to succeed you have the capacity to analyze complex business situations with a strategic mindset combined with excellent negotiation and communication skills and make high quality decisions on what strategies to use in an appropriate time frame.
