Your role
Surveillance IT, a central organization within Surveillance Operational Excellence, works on a tactical and strategical level to ensure that the employees of Surveillance has the tools and solution to deliver world class products to our customers. As IT Manager your overall goal is to work closely with the Business Unit, understand the requirements and find a solution. It can be small and simple or complex and demanding. We are there to guide the business through the different IT processes and help them make informed decisions.
We are working on the implementation of PM3, to support our possibilities to govern all IT within Surveillance. As IT Manager you will assist the business so that they understand what is expected and help them to stay on track. You will also handle escalations and high priority incidents that needs monitoring.
Our work brings us close to our internal IT supplier, Group IT. This position will give you a wide network of contacts within Group IT, to be able to best support the Business Unit. You will also be in close cooperation with our other IT Managers but also our specialist competences within our own department. Besides working as IT Manager, maybe other areas of special competences that you have will be able to support Surveillance IT in our total mission (maybe related to compliance, security, finance or other). With a growing focus on internationalization and working across countries and regulations there will also be involvement in designing solutions that enables our colleagues to work together globally.
Your profile
We are looking for a technical leader with good communications skills. You are driven by change and improvements and do not see technical challenges as obstacles.
Required skills:
* Leadership experience with a background in IT
* A proactive and reliable team player with very good communications skills
* Ability to set strategies and clear goals to reach them
* Ability to make changes happen
* Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
* Have 5+ years corporate experience
* IT Governance models, such as PM3
Desired skills:
* University degree within IT or equivalent work experience
* Experience from working in an international business environment
* Complementary area of expertise (security, compliance, IT architecture, finance or other)
* Knowledgeable about defense industry and its requirements
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
