We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate IT Infrastructure Service Manager to drive high priority infrastructure initiatives end-to-end globally.
Strengthen our Group IT Organization
NKT is growing and to support the business growth with efficient and secure IT Infrastructure and Cloud services - we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Service Manager with focus on server, storage, backup & restore.

Some of your tasks will be to:
* Planning and coordination of delivery within your area of responsibility
* Follow up operation, maintenance and development work regarding both internal and external specialists including costs, quality and documentation
* Responsible for the development, planning and operational management of the IT budget
* Be able to take on the role and act as project manager if necessary
* Attend and report in Steering Group meetings
* Keep together the total IT delivery for all systems and IT services included in the area of responsibility
* Maintain an active and open communication with managers, management departments and users to ensure the delivery of agreed needs
You will report to the Director and Global Head of IT Infrastructure and be a part of the Infrastructure leadership team.
You will support a growing company and be a part of the Global IT team based in Karlskrona. This means that you will be employed at what will soon be the world's largest submarine cable factory, playing a key role in the creation of a better future by enabling the expansion of wind farms and optimizing energy supply between and within countries. We deliver complete solutions, cable systems and installation with our own vessel.
Analytical, energetic and self-driven
To succeed in the role, you need to have the ability to analyze and set requirements. You are structured and establish documentation that you follow up and evaluate. You are good at communicating, building trust and maintaining relationships within and outside the IT organization and appreciate collaborating with other colleagues, teams, departments and stakeholders. This position also puts high demands on your ability to be independent, to make well-grounded decisions and have the ability to plan and lead your work as well as colleagues and subcontractor tasks in accordance with current internal processes.
Moreover, you enjoy working in an international, dynamic and fast-moving environment that allows you to benefit from your creativity and great personnel skills.
Additionally, your CV includes:
* Relevant academic degree in IT or equivalent experience
* Professional experience from IT service delivery and system management in a multinational enterprise or IT service provider
* Experience in project management and/or operational personnel management
* Be familiar with methods, models and frameworks
* Experience in managing and being responsible for budget and financial follow-up
* Vendor management skills. Excellent service skills.
* Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish.
