About the role
You will be part of the ESD Divisional IT Infrastructure & SecOps Team as an IT Infrastructure Engineer for Networking, handling the main platform products in cooperation with your team members in Europe & North America + ASSA ABLOY Group Center
You will contribute to and maintain internal best practices in terms of LAN-, WAN-, WIFI-configuration, firewall setups, cloud networking integrations, network segmentation & network isolation as well as Internet connectivity.
You will act as a speaking partner in terms of network sizing for new or existing sites, related to LAN/WAN/, Wi-Fi and firewall recommendations. The role also involves drive and coordinate activities to establish and maintain infrastructure and network security. Focus areas are such as vulnerability scanning and actions related to this, remote access solutions and other security related solutions. You will therefore also be part of the Entrance Systems Security Operations Team.
You will also be doing:
• Coordinate LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/Firewall best practices and provide 3rd line support for these areas Contribute to / drive networking projects
• Monitor the overall health of the network infrastructure within the division, on EU/global level.
The skills and experience you need
We think you have previously worked as an infrastructure specialist or a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience working with network and security projects. You have worked within global or major organisations with complex network infrastructure.
You have extended knowledge in WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi and firewalling areas and experience in analyzing & troubleshooting 2nd & 3rd level problems. Knowledge about SD-WAN technology is a clear value add
You are used to work with Active Directory, Mail online, Teams etc. You have also preferably experience and knowledge about Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 as well as Microsoft Windows 10/11.
You are fluent in English, and preferably also Swedish.
About You
You are a team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You have good analysis & decision-making skills. You are structured and organized in the way you plan and perform your tasks, to be as effective as possible.
Since this is a support-oriented role, you have good communication skills as well as a positive service attitude. The tasks for this role can be varying and therefor you need to have the ability to be flexible & hands-on if needed.
About the Position
The position is a full-time position and reports to the Director IT Infrastructure & SecOps.
Landskrona or Malmö, Sweden are the primary working locations for this position; however, we will also consider candidates that match, or exceed, the job criteria and are located within the European Community area. Due to the global nature of the organization, the role requires some travel.
