Your role as IT Infrastructure Engineer /Developer
As IT Infrastructure Engineer/ Developer in our team, you get to help to build our software-defined data centre and participate in projects spanning across the whole IT infrastructure stack and across multiple geographies! You will be a key player in the continued development of our infrastructure, facilitate self-service enablement and infrastructure as code.
You will apply DevOps-oriented methods and tools as well as promote the adoption of DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization. You will be involved in Development, automation and continuous improvement of Scania hosting delivery that delivers services to +100 development teams. The goal is to take a huge step into modernizing the way on-premises infrastructure is delivered.

GIT, TFS/Azure DevOps Server, REST-API's(!), System Center product suite, VMWare, Infoblox, CyberArk PAM, Azure Automation, Manage-IQ, Python, PowerShell etc.

This is what you bring
An ability to work in a structured way together with team members to achieve common goals as well as your individual goals. You are analytical, meaning you can solve problems and not forget the strategy you 're working towards. You write well-structured, human-friendly code and understand the benefits of modularization. You should also bring:
• At least 5 years working as Infrastructure Engineer, -specialist, -technician or developer
• At least 2 years' experience automate things with at least one OOP or scripting language (such as Powershell, bash, or Python)
• Working knowledge within some of the following IT-Infrastructure technologies: Linux OS, Windows OS, Containers, Hypervisor, Storage or Network
• Meriting: Cloud. DevOps, Oracle or SQL database, CI/CD
