IT Incident Manager, Volvo Cars IT
As IT Incident Manager you will focus on the Incident process performance of Infrastructure/Application on common level. Some of the main responsibilities are: align and implement the Incident process within Infrastructure/Application Management Services, deliver result from the process and be responsible for setting tool requirements. You will also be involved in the start up phase of building up the new organization.
IT OMO (Operational Management Office) is a new stand-alone function in the current Volvo Cars IT organization structure, and will work with all IT incidents. The new function will be a part of the AMS (Application Management Services) function.
Volvo Cars IT (VCIT) is a support organization which is responsible for delivering all IT-related services within Volvo Car Corporation.
Job Profile:
• Support Major Incident Manager during major incidents by coordinating resources and communicating both internally VCIT and towards stakeholders
• Request that root cause analysis is done and documented after all closed major incidents
• Follow up that corrective actions related to closed major incidents are done to prevent the incident to re-occur
• Analyse incident statistic and promote pro-active work to limit number of business critical incidents
• Act as incident communication layer between the resolving
teams within VCIT and the Major Incident Manager (Fujitsu)
• Secure that all Major Incidents are progressed with high level of efficiency, effectiveness and quality and improved continuously based on "lessons learned" from previous major incidents
• Analyse incident statistics and push pro-active work to limit the number of business critical incidents in co-operation with the Problem Manager
• Secure short resolution time and work closely with different teams at VC IT
• Responsible for tool requirements for the incident process (SM7/PASI, KB) and secure that the information is up-to-date
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of work experience from a position within IT
• Experience from working with the Incident process required
• Demonstrated capability to effectively lead cross-functional teams
• Willingness to share knowledge
• Structured and analytical
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, oral and written.
• Self motivated and result oriented
• Demonstrated capability to build and maintain good relationships
• Extra valuable for the position is if you have ITIL knowledge and in special within Service Operation
