As an IT Firstline Technician, you will be part of a small and close-knit team of IT professionals working together with the goal of supporting our business with anything related to IT. As the first point of contact for all IT support queries you will be working with our developers to resolve their technical issues in a prompt, friendly and professional manner.
The position is based in our office in Gothenburg but supports our employees in Skövde, Malmö, and Karlshamn as well. While rare, the occasional business trip to those offices might occasionally happen to assist with things that can't be handled remotely.
Responsibilities include:
• Windows 7, 8 & 11 administration and support
• Active Directory administration (user accounts, O365)
• Installation, configuration, upgrading, relocating, and troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and print devices
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Local Area Networks, switches, VLAN, and VPN
Requirements:
Since we have a multicultural group of employees and you will be cooperating with other IT specialists in other European countries a high level of English is required for this position. A curious mindset and desire to learn and develop over time to handle an ever-evolving technological landscape together with good communication skills and service-mindedness are things we value higher than numbers of years working with tech. With that said, experience in the following areas lays a good foundation for being successful in this role:
• Windows administration and support
• Active Directory
• Basic networking knowledge
• Troubleshooting & installation of PC hardware, software, print devices, and other peripherals

Thunderful Development is a studio that is part of Thunderful games and was formed by several indie companies coming together to make something more significant than they could have done independently.
Today, we're roughly 140 people in team sizes of 15-35 people making amazing games in four locations; Gothenburg, Skövde, Malmö & Karlshamn. The teams within have developed the award-winning SteamWorld series, known for its frequent genre-hopping and inclusive design, and more recent AA games like The Gunk, Lost in Random, and other unannounced but equally charming titles.

Our majestic Thunderful Games HQ in Gothenburg towers over all surrounding buildings except its slightly taller neighbors (we'll get there someday). Please don't mistake it for a typical office! Inside you'll find a custom-built game dev powerhouse with some of the industry's very best. The Gothenburg teams have been at it for over two decades and worked their way to the top with the SteamWorld series and EA Originals like Fe and Lost in Random.
