Husqvarna Group consist today of three different divisions: Husqvarna, Gardena and Construction and some Group Functions to support the different business divisions. The IT organization within Husqvarna Group is named Global Information Services (GIS) and is a Group Function who provides services to the entire group. GIS has three different specific IT organizations who is respectively working close to each business division. In this recruitment the IT organization working closely with Husqvarna Construction Division is looking for a new colleague.
The IT function within the Construction division is fairly new with the purpose to further strengthen the IT delivery towards the business and be seen as a true business partner. One of the departments within the Construction Division is the Governance Department. The purpose of the department is to monitor and quality assure the IT delivery to the business. The department consists of the following functions; Demand & Portfolio Management, Strategy Management, Delivery Performance Management and Domain Architecture were this role belongs.

About the position
In the role as Domain Architect you're expected to work within a broader range of applications and/or technologies within multiple business areas and support a large change portfolio, actively participate in maturing Husqvarna's architecture in close collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team.
As a Domain Architect you will have a Husqvarna Construction focus with the ambition to further develop the business and associated IT landscape.
Other key responsibilities are:
Give support to projects and initiatives with architectural solutions or investigations and provide a broad understanding of Husqvarna Construction IT landscape and business processes.
Propose architecture solutions based on complex and multiple business and technology considerations and create architectural designs that will guide and contextualize development in close co-operation with the business and senior business managers
Work closely with enterprise architecture team to ensure architecture alignment & governance
Work closely with Business Engagement Managers, Project Managers and Business analysts in assigned activities to provide value to the business.
Be responsible for application roadmap within construction.
Proposing architecture based on business and technology considerations and create architecture that will guide and steer Husqvarna's IT evolution to support current and future business needs
Build and maintain good relations with key business stakeholders as well as internal GIS colleagues.
Pro-actively advice how IT further can enhance the business.
The domain Architect reports to Governance Director with dotted line to Enterprise Architecture.
This position is preferably located in Jonsered , but travels will occur.
Who you are
In order for you to be successful in this role we see that you're an independent person with the ability to operate both a strategic and operational level. Since this role requires a lot teamwork in close collaboration with many stakeholders we see that you're collaborative as a person. It's lastly important that you're structured since you will be involved in many projects.
Other requirements for positions are:
A degree in computer science, systems science or equivalent education or experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as as architect
Knowledge within several of the following business areas:
• Supply Chain
• Manufacturing
• Omni-channel commerce
• Aftermarket
• Sales
• R&D
Broad IT knowledge basis in areas such as ERP, Development, Applications.
You should be driven, self-going and structured.
Fluent in English.
Training and/or certification in architecture is seen as a merit.
You should have good communication and networking skills.
