The Global Services and Operations (GSO) IT mission is to proactively support the Telia Company vision by making IT an enabler for business by delivering value that makes it possible for the business to run, grow and transform according to market demands.
IT Architecture & Transformation (ITAT), develops, implements and maintains future proof architecture framework to ensure that we can deliver products and services to our customers in all markets.
We ensure that transformation initiatives are in line with future targets and monitor Telia Company transformation initiatives.
Enterprise Services within GSO ITAT is responsible for Architecture, Design, Development, Maintenance and Service Management related to Telia Company corporate and common functions and processes. Business Owners of ordered services are primarily Group Staff Functions, Group Functions and process owners for enterprise processes related to Enterprise Effectiveness and Sustainability.
The focus will be to drive towards increased customer and service orientation, harmonization, simplification, consolidation and satisfaction, of both IT Services and related business processes.
We are in the beginning of a transformation journey, defining a new Target Architecture and transformation roadmap that will ensure our services being future-safe and fit-for-purpose for Telia Company, on a journey to become Next Generation Telco. In practice that means focusing on e g digital transformation and s4HANA for SAP.
Job description
As IT Design Manager you are a member of the Finance Services Team, reporting to Head of Finance Services. We are currently a team of 9, supporting our business stakeholders in group staff functions, with IT solutions for Telia Company’s global finance services. We provide services within Financial Accounting & Reporting, Business Control & Management Reporting and Cash & Treasury Management. The IT solutions are mainly SAP based but there are also other applications like eScala, Cognos and Hyperion. Our responsibilities cover the whole application lifecycle from assessment of new demands from business side, throughout implementation of changes via CRs or projects to support and maintenance in daily operations. The main part of support processes, like 2 nd line support, incident and problem management and minor development, are outsourced to third-party vendors.
We are looking for a person who is driving, result oriented and flexible in approach, open to take on all kind of different tasks that are part of our services.
As IT Design Manager, you will manage and monitor design and development, as well as support the maintenance and operations of IT services and solutions. You will work mainly with SAP but also with other finance applications.
Main tasks will be to:
Drive and support Change Request work for minor development together with business stakeholders and third-party vendors Participate in projects and other IT assignments, representing finance solution owner Contribute to, or drive, ongoing continuous service improvement work, in areas like documentation and process improvements.

Qualifications
You have high IT knowledge of Enterprise Services-related services, systems & applications You have good knowledge in SAP finance You have business experience in the areas relevant for the position and good understanding for finance business processes You have work experience from international environment You have good understanding of ITIL framework for IT processes Experience from maintenance and support/application management desirable Vendor management skills and experience of outsourced IT services desirable You have university degree in a relevant field
