The global unit Information Technology (IT) has the company-wide responsibility for Siemens internal IT. It aims to provide a high-performance and cost-effective information and telecommunications landscape that is oriented toward business and market requirements, and ensures a high availability of data and information streams. The IT group is a strong partner for the Digitalization initiative at Power Generation Services Distributed Generation.
Join our team now in the Global Services division as IT Demand Manager Digitalization.
What are my responsibilities?
• Your drive the Big Data Analytics capabilities fothe PS DG business to support application and dashboard development, especially in the area of machine learning such as condition based maintenance.
• You actively take part and lead productivity improvement activities related to demand management to engineer requirements for application dashboard development.
• You coordinate a variety of Big Data Analytics use cases and prioritize based on the overall Digitalization strategy.
• You provide technical loT operating platform as well as internal analytics platform support in customer negotiation.
• You manage a Big Data Analytics related project portfolio using Agile PM Methodology and covering planning, budgeting, controlling and reporting.
• You manage project teams of experts in data management and data scientists to implement a future-proof Big Data Analytics infrastructure.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• You have an academic background and multiple years of experience within Information Technology, or any other data analytics related discipline.
• You have a good track record of experience in managing programs / projects in the context of complex global organizational setups.
• You have a broad experience with Big Data Analytics platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services.
• You have a sound understanding of the principles of Big Data Analytics to an extent that you are able to formulate recommendations answering on business challenges and use cases.
• You are proactive and intrinsically motivated to take responsibility for your work. You are target driven and able to think outside-of-the-box, with a willingness to go the "extra-mile".
• You have experience with analytics combining structured, unstructured and time-series data, providing meaningful business insight.
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
