We are now looking for an IT datacenter specialist who wants to join us!
Job description:
The IT Datacenter Specialist at Geely Business Center works in the IT Operations team. The purpose of the position is to plan and build our datacenter infrastructure as well as supporting our 1st and 2nd line support team. GBC operates in Sweden, China, and Europe.
Work tasks and responsibilities
As IT Datacenter Specialist you will work with several partners to GBC in the infrastructure area as well as internal teams within GBC. You are expected to help to educate 1st and 2nd line in advance troubleshooting in related areas and also be a resource in projects and deliveries for GBC and its customers with their datacenter needs. Deliver and take lead for planning of updates and security updates for the devices that are related to the delivery as well as working with sizing in the area to meet the needs. You will be responsible for cost control relating to license usage, for the delivery of upgrades/updates together with other teams, to work with business requirements for purchasing of related equipment and to reduce the cost for software usage as well as working tightly together with the security team to ensure that the area follows the security guidelines. The role also includes working with documentation and knowledge base articles for servicedesk and business to deliver solutions that fit the need of the business and the supportability from servicedesk.
GBC infrastructure team is part of an AGILE organization which means that you will also be responsible to report and document your work in JIRA and participate in Dailys and SCRUM meetings.
Requirements:
We want you to have a University degree in IT or 5 years' of equivalent work experience. We see that you have experience in working with server deployment automation (Ansible and Terraform), handling server orders (virtual servers) from business and IT, managing access for high privilege-accounts, working in ServiceDesk as 3'rd line for server related cases, working closely with our operations partners to make sure server and storage environments are healthy and that you've had responsibility for rules regarding data retention based on business demands. It's important that you are comfortable working in the English language, both spoken and written, since that is the corporate language.

• HPE servers including blade environment
• Dell Servers (vxrail)
• Cisco servers
• Veeam Backup environment
It is meritorious if you are a Swedish speaker and also if you have knowledge/experience of CEVT/GBC IT environment.
