What you will be a part of
Service Management is responsible for running, reporting and monitoring of the IS/IT operation in all parts of Saab globally. This involves data centre management, application management and the operation of secret environments etc.
It is within the departments responsibility to lead and support the local and global business organisations. It shall also lead and manage the global service partners who are part of Group ICT operation and be responsible for Saabs global service management system. Furthermore the department is ultimately responsible for solving all incidents and problems related to ongoing operations.
You will be a part of Service Management Support Office (SMSO). This unit is responisible for supporting operations and our custommers within the IT area
Your role
The changes are constantly made in Saab's computer environments and the pace will become even higher in the future. To be able to find up to date IT related information quickly and easily it will become even more important. We therefore need to strengthen the information area with one more person to be able to meet the demands for information within IT better and quicker.
Your task will be to satisfy the users needs for information required to work efficiently with their IT tools. You will for example work with all kinds of IT related information, general information texts and work with instruction movies - often based upon very IT technical texts with the goal to make the information easy to understand and access for users within Saab.
Today our primary information channel is the intranet, SaabNet. As a complement to this you will be working with finding new channels in order to better reach the receivers of our information.
You will work both on your own and in close cooperation with our service owners within Group ICT. The work means a large number of contacts both within and outside of Group ICT.
Your skills and experience
You are passionate about information and information spreading. You have the ability to find information needs where others have missed them. You are creative and know how to think outside the box. As a person you are good at organizing, planning and structuring. You have a sensitive ear when it comes to both business needs for IT related information as well as Group ICT's need for spreading such information.
It is an advantage if you have worked within Saab or similar large companies with a global business. You have a general IT knowledge and a deep understanding of the user perspective, you have also a knowledge how to transform a technical text into information that is suitable for the target groups.
For the position you are expected to have an excellent ability to write in a journalistic manner in both Swedish and English.
Prefered placement is Linköping but can be discussed.
