hela Sverige We are looking for a person who will represent Tetra Pak when sourcing, negotiating and managing world leading companies in the IT industry. You will deal with giants like Microsoft, SAP, HP, TCS as well as smaller companies with cutting edge technology.
You will be part of a small team with IT sourcing specialists in a team called IT Supplier Management. We are organised in Tetra Pak's IT organisation, Global IM, consisting of 800 IT professionals - our closest stakeholders. We also belong to the global Supplier Management function and share tools and processes with the Category Managers in the other segments.
Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) has main operation in four main sites: Lund in Sweden, Denton in the USA, Chakan in India and in Singapore.
A number of challenging and interesting initiatives in the name of Digitalisation as well as classical IT automation are on-going that needs attention by an ambitious and experienced person.
The IT Category Manager's role is to support Tetra Pak's projects and services in sourcing suitable IT solutions and services. The role is to work close to the planners, project leaders, service delivery teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements and future directions.
This position will preferably be located in Lund.
Travelling approximately 14 days per year is expected.
Main responsibilities
• Source, negotiate and contract suitable suppliers
• Measure supplier performance
• Prepare forecasts, analyze spend and consumption
• Drive to secure value by best practice adoption
• Market analysis - understand trends and opportunities in a developing market
• In co-operation with key stakeholders; develop and implement appropriate sourcing strategies
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with a commercial mindset, a proven ability to drive and communicate and who can work proactively in a matrix environment with both internal and external parties. To build and maintain sucessful relations with stakeholders comes natural to you. Furthermore, you are business oriented and have a strong and recognized informal authority as well as a natural seniority.
To be successful in this position you have solid experience from the IT sector as well as from negotiation, contracting and from vendor management. Experience from the sales side is a plus. You probably have a University degree within IT and/or Business Administration and you are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
