Description
Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak's Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has 550 employees in three main sites: Lund/Malmö in Sweden, Denton in the USA and in Singapore.
Within IT Supplier Management we are looking for a IT Category Manager. IT Supplier Management aim at having the right supplier at the right cost providing the right service. Our key responsibilities within the team of totally 10 Category Managers are to establish and govern the commercial relationship and manage selected centralised IT purchases. The team is accountable for supply base management activities which mean to continuously and systematically manage, evaluate and optimise our business relationship with suppliers.
The IT Category Manager's role is to support Tetra Pak's projects and services in sourcing suitable IT solutions and services. The role is to work close to the planners, project leaders, service delivery teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements and future directions.
These positions will preferably be located in Lund but Singapore or Denton could also be considered. Travelling approximately 30 days per year is expected.
Main responsibilities
• Source, negotiate and contract suitable suppliers
• Measure supplier performance
• Prepare forecasts, analyze spend and consumption
• Drive to secure value by best practice adoption
• Market analysis - understand trends and opportunities in a developing market
• In co-operation with key stakeholders; develop and implement appropriate sourcing strategies
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with a commercial mindset, a proven ability to drive and communicate and who can work proactively in a matrix environment with both internal and external parties. To build and maintain sucessful relations with stakeholders comes natural to you. Furthermore, you are business oriented and have a strong and recognized informal authority as well as a natural seniority.
To be successful in this position you have solid experience from the IT sector as well as from negotiation, contracting and from vendor management.You probably have a University degree within IT and/or Business Administration and you are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing.
