Your mission
In this position, you act as a steady bridge between our business and the world of IT. This means being accountable for all aspects of IT and agreed service levels for division Crushing and Screening - including strategy, forecasts, roadmaps, risk assessment, development activities and operations of systems. You initiate necessary improvements and enable speedy decisions based on business needs and foreseeable future demands - always with the aim to enhance our delivery. You also handle projects and life cycle management of applications and infrastructure in line with our Enterprise Architecture. All in all, you balance your role between a business point of view and the small details connected to IT development, to ensure that we do our very best to support the division.
The preferred location for this position is Svedala (Sweden), but Lahti (Finland) or Ballygawley (the UK) are possible options. Some business travel occurs.
Your character
We are looking for someone with a relevant academic background, preferably a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or IT. Although your background is formed in the field of IT, you also need a strong business understanding and a collaborative mindset to be successful in this role. Our ideal candidate is used to paving the way for successful IT management by using core technological skills and the ability to transform these into solutions that match our business requirements. To perform well in this position, you're also comfortable interacting in a global, matrix environment, and as we are present in all corners of the world, you need advanced English skills.
