As an IT Business Intelligence Specialist @ BMW Northern Europe AB you will be working in a dynamic environment representing a strong and passionate brand. You will be joining a great international team of IT specialists and system analysts who are responsible for a variety of local applications and technical solutions supporting the Northern European sales organization of BMW. You will get great opportunities to further develop the business intelligence-side and KPI-reporting within our national sales department, while aligning with central DevOps teams in Munich on utilizing more and more the standard BI solutions. You will also be responsible for steering the operations provider for our local BI solution for business and sales steering. Organizationally you will be placed in the local IT team, which is responsible for providing the best IT solutions to support business processes in all Nordic markets and the Baltics. You will also have a close partnership with other international BMW Group IT departments and will be an active part in upcoming and ongoing IT projects.
Responsibilities
In this function your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
Develop and maintain reports and KPIs within our local solution in QlikSense, in close collaboration with our local business partners and external consultants.
Manage requirements regarding new use cases or enhancements of existing implementations.
Maintain and operate the overall QlikSense platform and services together with our operations provider, making sure that data quality and stable operations are always ensured.
Provider management, including steering of all DEVOPS activities and execution of regular service review meetings.
Taking over the responsibility for upcoming and ongoing IT projects, always aligned with our current BMW Group IT strategy and product portfolio management.
Qualifications
Who you are:
You have education, preferably a university degree, within the field of Information Technology, Computer Science, and Engineering or similar together with relevant professional background and practical experience.
It would be an advantage if you have a proven record of accomplishment of well-developed skills within the area of business intelligence end user reports, business analysis/understanding and KPI development.
You have a good understanding of working in a DEVOPS/agile environment (Scrum) together with a solid foundation of IT service management skills e.g., change- and incident management (ITIL V4).
It is a plus if you already have first experience in the automotive industry.
As a person you can handle a fast-paced environment and you have an eye for details without losing track of the overall picture.
Furthermore, you are self-driven and solution oriented.
We see it as an advantage if you have worked with business intelligence systems, such as Qlik Sense.
Since we are an international organization, you are fluent in English and at preferably at least one more Scandinavian language (preferably Swedish), German is meritorious.
