The Solution Center Purchasing is the unit, within R&D and Purchasing Solutions, that has the responsibility to manage the deliveries for all solutions in the Purchasing portfolio. The Solution Center has the full responsibility on runtime (cost and quality of service) as well as the delivery of the IT part of P&IT projects. The main sites are located in Sweden, Bangalore and Japan. We want to make a difference by being there for our colleagues and our customers by providing excellent IT solutions.
We are now seeking an IT business analyst in Gothenburg, who has the drive and passion to contribute in converting business goals and stakeholder needs into excellent IT solution and services.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Your main focus within this role will be to understand business goals and stakeholder needs when working with a service, solution or Application Lifecycle. You will be involved in one or several of following activities; Stakeholder requirements needs, end user studies, process definitions, pre-studies, modelling and design ideation to find the optimal solution, consistent and efficient usage of solution and requirement management of Process & IT solutions.

You will:

• Lead the requirement management process and coordination in pre-studies, projects and programs.
• Supports business in prioritization of scope and in selecting/designing optimal Process & IT solutions based on stakeholder and end user needs and business processes.
• Act as a domain expert
• Perform analyst tasks in pre-studies, projects or in runtime delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent solution understanding, combined with related process knowledge and solution dependencies and interfaces
• Responsible for managing the solution(s) in collaboration with senior business & process stakeholders.

• Facilitate modelling and analysis of business processes and operations from a requirement management perspective or design concepts for a product
• Identify risks regarding the functional solution from a Business Analysis perspective and proposes changes in business processes, IT implementations and/or operations when necessary
• Support business case development by securing business value creation
• Facilitate global workshops cross site according to recommended methods
• Execute trainings together with process and solution key user and Business Process Developer.
• Contribute to build and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders
• Manage process and solution key user network(s)
• (When applicable) Manage the business configuration of solution(s), support with master data setup etc.

Required knowledge/experience
In this position, you will be part of the Purchasing Solution team and report to Purchasing Solutions Delivery Manager. To be successful in your new role we want you to have the following knowledge/experience:

• Good understanding of the purchasing business processes
• Good understanding of purchasing solution usage, dependencies and interfaces, securing end-to-end understanding in order to be able to suggest improvements
• Good understanding of how to balance business needs and take decisions to prioritize
• Proven experience of handling Business Analysis in projects with Volvo Group methodology on level C according to the project categorization scale
• Proven capability working with stakeholders and sharing best practices and business knowledge
• Eager to learn and work with your own development.
• University/Master's degree in informatics or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and capability to participate in stakeholder forums
