We are now looking for an IT Business Analyst for one of our clients.
Job summary We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the project team as it moves from the exploration phase into concept and launch phase. Product Lifecycle Management ensures the appropriate level of product documentation throughout the entire lifecycle. With increasing demands on data quality and rising product complexity, improving tools, information flows, and ways of working is crucial for both current and future success. A central focus of this initiative is creating clarity in requirements, improving data structures, and strengthening traceability across the value chain. Objective Initial work has resulted in a solid high-level understanding of the problem space, and key capabilities have already been defined. The next step is to translate these opportunities into concrete solution concepts. We are looking for a Business Analyst who is confident in turning high-level needs into solution requirements, planning and conducting needed research, and championing best practices in requirements management, traceability, and solution development.
Key Responsibilities - Lead stakeholder discovery and translate business expectations into clear solution requirements in collaboration with D&IT professionals. - Model as-is and to-be end to end flows. - Support the management of the Digital Thread roadmap, Optimizing the roadmap steps and sequence to maximize the value of business outcomes. - Manage requirements and provide transparency to stakeholders about the progress and forecast of their expectations. - Manage acceptance / evaluation criteria for solution evaluations - Prepare communication material, demo scripts and change support.
Required Qualifications - 5+ years of business analysis in large cross functional organizations. - Strong process and modelling capabilities. - Cross-functional facilitation experience within engineering, operations, service, Purchasing, sales and IT.
Deliverables - Business Requirements and acceptance / evaluation criteria for solution evaluations - End to end flows, AS-IS and TO-BE. - Traceability of requirements to the Digital thread road map. - Inputs to business case and KPI baselines. Key close range deliverables - Define IT Solution Expectations o Business needs detailing as explored and needed by IT architects. o Example performance requirements such as interface latency - Prototype selected IT Capabilities/Cases o Define user-centric scenario to demo - AS IS TO BE metrics. Value confirmation.
Engagement Model The consultant is expected to join the Digital Thread core team cadence, including weekly core meetings and workshops, and produce agreed deliverables aligned to the program timeline.
