The role
Sinch AB is looking for a DevOps engineer to strengthen our IT Infrastructure team. To be successful in this role you need to have good competence in AWS and be able to back it up with a solid general infrastructure background.
Primary responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Sinch AWS infrastructure
Automate infrastructure deploys and roll outs
Develop and maintain infrastructure orchestration
Today the team handles servers, clients, networking, database-clusters and storage solutions for both our production and internal platforms, both on premise and in the cloud.
Now we're looking for talented people to help us build the next generation communication platform in the cloud. Our mission is to develop, automate and maintain our cloud infrastructure to be cost efficient and quickly adapt as business requirements changes. You will be the glue between our development teams and Infrastructure teams and set the rules how automation and orchestration should be built up.
Developing automation for AWS, creating tools for our tech people, debug issues in production environment, no day looks like the other. Automation is your thing and you like to have fun and feel proud of what you and your team delivers.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with:
1+ year experience from Amazon Web Services
1+ year experience from software development
1+ year experience from Infrastructure automation and orchestration
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Bonus if you have skills in
Configuration management tools - Saltstack, Ansible or Puppet
Automation tools (Infrastructure as code) - Terraform or CloudFormation
Citrix XenServer
Big-IP F5
Juniper Netscreen and/or Junos
Linux and/or Windows system administration knowledge
Experience of large-scale distributed systems
Storage systems (SAN)
Other IAAS technologies - OpenStack, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine
