Overview
SCA IT Services is looking for an IT Architect (m/f) in the area of Workplace & Collaboration Services to assure alignment of architecture in this area for the SCA Group and who is also able to drive global projects as project manager.
This position is part of the Workplace & Collaboration Service team, which is responsible for the overall workplace, collaboration and communication experience SCA globally and across all sites.
You are responsible for developing and implementing the standards and direction of architecture in the Workplace and Collaboration Services area.
You provide support, research and development of new technology and tools to increase end-user experience and share this information within our OneIT Organization.
The position reports to the IT Manager, Workplace & Collaboration Services.
The position can be located at any of our offices, preferably in Europe.
Main Tasks
Develop the respective IT Architecture, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals and that the technical direction is consistent with SCA’s IT strategy and roadmap
Cooperate with other architects to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements
Review and document all requirements, including functional, integration, security, performance, quality, and operations requirement for our technical solutions
Lead the IT Architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that policies and guidelines are followed in the Workplace & Collaboration Services area.
Identify and communicate any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other project areas
Provide input for creating our Service and Technical Roadmaps.
Lead global projects in the area of Workplace and Collaboration Services
Key Competencies
University degree in the area of Information Technology
You have minimum 5 years of experience working as technician in the area of building desktop environments, networking, conferencing etc. as well as Workplace/Communication development
Minimum 3 years of experience in building IT Architecture designs and running large projects as a project leader
Ability to work in international environments across multiple business needs and in a true virtual team.
You should have good communication skills and help building an open environment.
You should be customer driven with a strong business and service orientation.
You should be able to lead global projects in the area of Workplace and Collaboration Services.
Ability to develop your skills into vendor management and other relevant skills to support make or buy decisions.
You need to be an excellent team-player, self-motivated, self-driven and proactive with a positive ’can do’ attitude.
Fluent English is required in this position.
