The tests are often based on DNA technology but is constantly expanding and evolving into new medical fields.
Dynamic Code is in a growth state and was for example named Growth Company of the Year 2020 at the Tech Arena Challenge!
A foundation for the full offering is the IT Platform and as Dynamic Code is growing, the IT Platform needs to evolve. We are therefore now looking for someone to take on the role as Architect for our IT Platform as we continue to expand both our offering and services but also international.
Job description
As IT Architect, you will be part of an IT department that has the accountability and responsibility for the IT platform that enables the Dynamic Code business to evolve and grow. Within the highly collaborative IT team you will take on the work of leading how we build our platform with the optimal design and technology to comply with overall requirements on for example cost/benefit, maintainability, security, expandability, regulatory compliance and quality.
The IT Platform is serving and connecting multiple business functions such as lab, e-commerce, warehouse and finance. It consists of a number of components based on standard products that have been modified and extended to serve the needs of Dynamic Code operation. As Dynamic Code is acting as a part within the growing HealthTech fabric which is currently disrupting healthcare, the IT Platform is also supporting integration of a growing number of partners.
The next step for us is to establish a platform supporting the future business. To have the capacity for this journey, the IT department will be scaled up and parts of the systems engineering will take place in-house. In the role as IT Architect, you will be a key-player in designing and evolve our new IT Platform. The goal is to create a more flexible and scalable solution, adapted for future growth.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with documented experience of similar work in a role as an architect. Most likely you have previously worked as a developer and gained insight into different techniques and programming languages. You are good at transforming requirements into long-term sustainable and well-functioning products and have good knowledge in the development process steps.
To be successful in the role, we believe that you are a person with good logical analytical skills, and you are able to keep the holistic perspective throughout the process. You are excellent in writing specifications and describing processes, you have a flexible approach to meet the business demands. Furthermore, you will have many contact areas, which requires good communication skills.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Accountable for the total IT Platform. Technology choices as well as design principles.
• Define and Communicating development principles and supporting software engineers in designing and implementing solutions in the platform.
• Conducting technical feasibility analysis and integration design with external partners in pre-sale activities.
• Lead build vs buy analysis for different components in the IT Platform.
• Develop technology strategies for evolution of the IT Platform.
Skills needed for the role:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Software Engineer in multiple technologies
• Leadership in software design and systems engineering
• Work in an agile environment
• Working with remote teams
