ABOUT THE ROLE
As IT Application Specialist at Linde Gas you will be responsible for two platforms. Your work tasks will include:
Provide 2nd line support in conjunction with application owners.
Undertake required maintenance activities for your platforms.
Define and enforce development guidelines for the platforms.
Manage development enhancements once approved.
Ensure all new applications are registered in the application portfolio and undertake a service transition review before they go live.
Ensure suitable knowledge transfer is undertaken for applications developed with external partners.
WHO ARE YOU?
To be successful in this role we believe that you are/have:
A relevant post-secondary education within IT
Minimum 2 years experince in application development
Experience in managing IT development/enhancement,preferable related to SAP
A wide understanding of IT technologies, preferable including Java, JavaScript and/or Azure
Fluent in English, both verbally and written. Swedish knowledge is benefical.
But most importantly we believe that you are/have:
Able to work independently in a virtual organisation and to take responsibility of your tasks.
A good cooperation and communication with internal customers, peers and suppliers.
A structured approach to tasks and positive attitude.
