Role Purpose
Borealis IT&S is looking for an IT professional, with interest and experience in Manufacturing- and Industrial systems. The main focus of the role is to maintain, upgrade and install applications and systems in the manufacturing execution area, including automated reports.
The role requires high analytical skills, good problem solving & change management skills, enjoy working in a team-based international environment and at the same time have the ability to work independently and to take initiatives.
Contribution
As member of an international team you will assist in maintaining and supporting the Manufacturing and Industrial environment.
Your main activities will be:
• Installing, configuring and maintaining Borealis manufacturing systems.
• Manage upgrades
• Patch management.
• Document and execute disaster recovery processes.
• 2nd line support for the HelpDesk which means direct user contacts and problem solving.
• Project resource for international manufacturing execution projects.
• Vendor contacts.
Skills
• University degree or equivalent education
• Automation engineer/System engineer/IT professional or relevant background.
• Database management skills
• Experience in DCS/PLC systems, Manufacturing systems like IP21, Batch 21 and the manufacturing environment together with basic knowledge in Windows Server is an advantage
• Be an open communicator and willing to share knowledge with others.
• Good problem & change management skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
