IT Application Expert
The mission of the IT Application Expert (IT-AE) is to take responsibility for application lifecycle management for a single or group of application(s) within a specified area. The "IT-AE" also takes responsibility to manage end user, business and IT requirements for applicable solution(s).
The IT Application Expert is responsible to manage direct interaction with end users and business stakeholders regarding solution requirements. It includes both one time and runtime deliveries in application management context.
The IT Application Expert mainly interfaces with the business solution key users and the first level support team. The job requires excellent solution understanding, combined with related process knowledge and solution dependencies and interfaces.

Qualifications:
IT Application Expert System Engineering Including Vehicle Software Management.
• Applicant should preferable have worked with tools such as CANOE, CANLYZER, INKA
• Applicant should preferable have knowledge from working with Vehicle Software Verification tools:
• Application should preferable have knowledge from Vehicle Electrical system, CAN, Flexray
• Applicant should have understanding of common development methods and tools used in Vehicle Software Engineering
• Applicant should have great understanding on application maintenance and related processes
• Applicant should have experience from DSpace tools.
• Experience from Volvo Cars and Volvo Trucks is but not mandatory
Responsibilities
• Implement software and provide systems administration set-up and configuration
• Day-to-day maintenance of applications including tasks related to:
• identifying and troubleshooting application issues
• root cause analysis
• Complete product upgrades or software patches and support as required
• Work closely with the vendors to identify and implement solutions to system problems or defects
• Act as subject matter expert for the applications included in the portfolio
• Ensure application continuity
• Supports application upgrades and assists with updating training modules and user scripts
• Create and maintain standards, procedures and documentation related to area of responsibility
• Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization to ensure business and user needs are identified and met
• Provide application coordination, communications and notifications of system changes or downtime
• Participate in testing and implementation of application software

• Good understanding to read and understand system manuals and documentation pertaining to the operations of computer and software applications
