JOB DESCRIPTION
Main funcion:
• Site IT System Technician.
• As a key member of the Regional team, you will be expected to play an important role in pulling together all the key functions, under the continuous improvement banner and bring a new and different level of thinking through the operating and financial function.
Principle Accountabilities:
• To ensure full commitment to IAC policy, Legal and customer requirements, support for training, team development & planning, recruitment, communications, Environmental & health and safety, housekeeping and personal discipline.
Scope of job:
• Support IT projects.
• Support plant IT projects.
• Managing and maintaining a Windows domain.
• Maintain and manage windows servers.
• Support users within business applications.
• Support company IT systems.
• Support plant process systems.
• Support Telephone system.
• Ensure the assets (Hardware & Software) are managed, maintained and utilised to maximise the productivity of the business.
• Responsible to respond, communicate and act on events that involve a risk of disrupting the plant's ability to deliver products in time.
• Technical support for the purchase of new equipment.
• Purchase IT equipment.
• Always promote a good working both within the department and with other departments, suppliers, customers, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred educational qualifications & experiences to fulfil the role (essential & desirable):
• Qualifications - Candidates will be certified to degree level with minimum experience of 3 years Managing and maintaining a windows environment working within a high volume, automotive manufacturing environment, coupled with the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
• Technical & administrative skills required - MCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate.
• Windows 7/10
• Windows Server 2003/2008/2012/2016
• Experience from IT support, operation of IT systems.
• Knowledge within Mitel pbx systems.
• Lotus Notes, basic knowledge.
• Experience from HP server products.
• Experience from Cisco network products. Managing and Maintaining.
• Should be fully conversant with automotive quality tools and systems; these should include TS16949, ISO14001, supported by excellent organisational and communicational skills.
