Our department, Systems Architecture, is responsible for the development of the future platform architecture where managing the ever increasing application software will be the major challenge as well as the electronics enabling computation. This architecture is applied in trucks, but also in busses and construction equipment. We are part of a global organisation within electrical engineering and electronics, which has four units in Sweden, and four spread out in France, India, USA and Japan. International contacts are part of our daily life so being fluent in English both written and oral is a must.

The functional safety standard ISO26262 is already applied to passenger cars, but will also be introduced for trucks during 2018. We are finalizing the methods and processes to be applied in order to be compliant with the standard, and are now in need for a ramp-up to secure the roll-out to engineers.

As ISO26262 engineer you will be part of a dedicated team that are the experts in the standard and the work that needs to be done to comply with it. After the roll-out is done we will have a governance set-up that you will be part of.

Main Activities

• Develop, deploy and maintain ISO 26262 related instructions
• Educate development engineers for ISO 26262 specific activities such as hazard analysis and safety concepts
• Depending of demands, be part of advanced engineering projects
• Contribute to the evolvement of the architecture
