About the job Group Consumer Payments (GCP) is responsible for four home markets with the purpose to develop competitive and innovative payment products, work efficiency and ensure long-term revenue growth.

The Business Infrastructure team is a new department within GCP. One of our responsibilities is to, from a Business perspective; support our product offering with a cost efficient, sustainable and standardized infrastructure for payments and payment related products but also to ensure the Swedbank Group-common way of interpreting and using standards within our area. ISO20022 is essential for the infrastructure both internally and externally.

The new role will be recruited and placed in Sweden but the responsibility will cover the whole of Swedbank Group, all four home markets and subsidiaries in Nordics. You will be a member of the new Business Infrastructure team in GCP and report directly to Division Manager who is located in Sweden.

In this role, you will be the dedicated owner of our Swedbank's Message Implementation Guidelines (MIG's) for ISO 20022 messages. It means that you will maintain, update and secure the accuracy of the different MIG's, and also spread the knowledge of the MIG's and ISO-standard to your counterparties in the whole of Swedbank Group. You will be involved in internal and external development projects as well as give expert support to those who do customer onboarding, from an ISO-standard perspective. You will also play a big part in taking strategic decisions concerning Swedbank's way forward when it comes to the usage of ISO20022-standard and work closely together with our Product Manager for file format and file communication in Sweden and the, Baltic Gateway team.

You will also have a support role towards product managers and others in connection to GCPs and Group Cash Managements products and represent Swedbank in external standards communities.

Even though Swedbank is striving after keeping travels at a minimum and promote the use of virtual meetings as much as possible, this position will require some traveling.

What you need to succeed In order to be successful in this position it's important that you are engaged and have the ability to drive your own work and agenda. You must also be a team player and be responsive and flexible as your counterparties and colleagues will come from different backgrounds with different knowledge and experiences and your role is to give support and guidance.

You also need to have/be:

Good knowledge and experience from international standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT and EDIFACT
Deep knowledge in ISO 20022 Payments, Cash Management and Interbank messages
Deep knowledge in cross border payments and domestic clearing systems in the Nordic and Baltic area
Experience on how corporates are using banks integration services
Good in English, both spoken and written
