About the position:
We are looking for a "IS support manager" that wants to be part of our team which gives IS support to our users at UIQ Technology.

The IS support team are supporting our users and IS systems. In this role you will lead and manage a team of highly motivated support technicians. The main tasks are to act as support coordinator
which include but are not limited to lead and prioritize all support work for the support team. We are using a service desk system that helps out to organize and track all incidents and problems. The
support team also handles the daily work like delivering new PC's and taking care of standard changes to our systems and services.

Your working tasks will for example include helping users, solving incidents and problems, inform users about system outages and other support task, in this role your are also a manager for the IS
support staff, line managers task such as recruiting, competence development and process development with the purpose of continuously improving the performance in the organization. Work outside of
normal office hours occurs such as emergency service.

Education:

• A university degree within IT is desired but not necessary. The personality and the ability to manage people and solve issues are more important.
Experience:

• Successful track record of building team performance, including recruiting and competence development.
• Experience from IT support and management tasks
• Technical background with experience in complex global IT environment.
• Experience or knowledge about ITIL and it's processes
Personal skills and abilities:

• Ability to structure and organize tasks and processes
• Very good teamwork and coaching skills
• Ability to negotiate and find solutions together with our users
• Excellent communication in spoken and written English
