Would you like to lead the execution of IS projects in Robotics Sweden (focus on manufacturing related projects), using either ABB and/or 3rd party resources, and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with business needs, company procedures, project objectives, applicable quality standards, safety requirements, cost and scheduling targets? The first project for you will be delivering a manufacturing execution system (MES) to ABB Robotics as the first major step in their factory today. You will cooperate with the factory and your main responsibility is to implement the new system. You will work together with the project team on Robotics. The second major system is the new logistic system that will be part of our future logistic solution in the new warehouse in Campus Robotics. It includes Automosy Mobile Robots that will be part of the IS-system.
As you understand it will be challenging and you will be a central part of the execution of the Campus Robotics project. Working with teams on the factory, informing stakeholders, controlling time plans and budget. Schedule risks, tests and financial plans. Of course, leading your project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones is fundamental in this role. It means coaching, developing and providing feedback regarding those individuals allocated to work on project.
Your responsibilities
You will operate in a business under transformation, where all processes, tools and teams are not yet defined nor operational.
It will be managing complex project implementations delivering enhancements to shared IT platforms or business specific solutions. Also managing stakeholders' expectations which cross multiple functions and management levels.
It means you keep up to date and inform about any change in strategy, and is consulted regarding any incident or other project which has, or might have, a major impact on the project.
Your background
Master's degree with 10+ years IT experience.
5+ years of IS Project Management delivering complex projects.
ABB Certification level required: Certification level 2 (Risk rating: High, Mission Critical: High); ABB Gate Model for IS Projects experience; ABB Financial Management and Controlling experience; Experience of project management inside of ABB: Required; Experience of project management inside of ABB: Required; Experience of assembly manufacturing processes: Required.
Experience of MES and/or SAP: Preferable; ABB IS standards and process experience: ABB Master Data, ABB Information Security, ABB ERP landscape, ABB ICoFR (SOX), IS Sourcing.
Excellent ABB leadership qualities including result orientation, change management, personal leadership, team work and collaboration, intercultural sensitivity, customer orientation, strategic orientation.
English language proficiency is a requirement.
