In this role you will partner with the ABB Sweden Common Functions and their global HUBs. Your key focus is to support implementation and adoption of global solutions and processes aligned with Swedish business requirements. You will also ensure operational delivery of existing IS solutions, hardware and services for the Country Functions together with the Country IS organization.
You will act as key member of the Country IS Council team and be the single point of contact for country functions to ensure end-to-end IS services.
Location for this position is in Västerås, Sweden.
Your responsibilities
The IS Manager is responsible for 365 users in Country functions in Sweden and 450 HUB users in Krakow, Bangalore, and Tallinn.
Gain a deep business understanding of each of the Country functions and their requirements related to IS solutions (Human Resources, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Information Systems, Real Estate, Legal, Procurement & Logistics, Sustainability, Trade, Internal Control and Communication).
In your area of responsibility supporting and guiding managers, users and IS colleagues in any IS related topic.
You will play a key role in implementation of IS projects for Country Functions, mainly globally initiated. Depending on project you will take the role of Project manager, Steco member, Gate assessor, Advisor or Financial Control. Ensuring a good and compliant project preparation is always a key activity for you.
You will also support Application Managers, ensuring a secure and compliant operation, including lifecycle management and review of support agreements.
In your area of responsibility prepare IS budget and handle IS cost management.
Participate in Country IS Council and Cross functional forums.
Your background
Bachelor/Master degree in related field with 10+ years of experience in Business IS transformation or IS solutions/service delivery.
As a person you love a constant flow of change and strive for business improvements in all that you do.
As a person you also love the combination of planned improvements and ad-hoc issues.
You have business acumen and ability to take strategic view from both business and IS perspective.
You have leadership experience, including demonstrated examples of building relationships and management through influence and collaboration in complex, multi-cultural global environment.
You have experience from working in geographically dispersed and diverse teams.
