We are seeking an IPR Licensing Manager to join our team.
The IPR Licensing Manager will work closely with local IPR Licensing Directors to drive the strategic direction of Ericsson's Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Licensing activities.
What you will do
In this position, you will support Ericsson's licensing account engagements, lead outreach to prospective licensees in new industries and support the creation, development and growth of new licensing campaigns. This is an entry position for a candidate with IPR experience who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in IPR monetization and licensing. The position will be based at the Ericsson Offices in Kista (Stockholm).
You will bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent, In addition, a Law Degree is preferred.
3-5 years of experience working in an IPR organization ideally with experience in any of the following areas IP licensing and business development, Patent portfolio management, patent technical analysis or legal.
Experience supporting IP Licensing organizations in a variety of capacities including business or technical analysis, portfolio management, business development, or other experiences supporting IP monetization efforts.
In-depth knowledge of general patent licensing, SEP licensing, IP law, contracts, and patent assertion.
Self-starter, motivated, and driven to develop prospects, initiate licensing campaigns and support IP licensing negotiations alongside Licensing Directors.
Team player with the ability to partner with cross-functional groups, including Patent Assertion, IP Strategy, Legal, and Management.
Additional Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or equivalent.
