hela Sverige UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry. Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas. We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.
For our customer we are now looking for a
IP Network Senior System Architect
Essential Skills required:
• Bachelor degree of computer science, electronics engineering, or communications.
• Ten years of working experience in telecom vendors, carriers, research bodies, or universities, with over three years of design or research experience in E2E network solutions.
• Profound understanding of one of the novel E2E network solution domains and in-depth architecture knowledge of LTE/SAE, WiMAX, FTTx, IPTV, FMC, ICT, and IMS web; has carried out in-depth research of E2E performance, QoE, reliability and security in solution networks; strong business awareness, business oriented and result-oriented, with successful project experience.
• Acts as project leader or chief participant in an E2E network solution project; has proven track record on participation in the system requirement analysis and architecture design of at least two successful medium or large-scale project.
• Broad knowledge and experience in telecom/datacom planning and designing field; thorough understanding of access network, PTN, IMS, 2G and 3G core network, Internet applications and multimedia technologies; better with IMS and CS 3GPP/3GPP2 experience.
• Excellent English language proficiency, both verbal and written, and communication skills, which enables the clarification of a complicated solution technical topic; can maintain smooth relation with co-workers under a multi-team working environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team-work spirit and independent working capability, including self-motivation, effective communication, listening, feedback after execution, and willingness to share technologies.
• Worldwide short-term travels as required by the post.
Additional skills required:
Discovers and breaks through latest key technologies (including future development proposal), either proven through a research paper or a prototype product and changes the innovation to technical standards
Travels to China regularly and communicate with R&D team face to face; travels on short-term business trips worldwide.
Beneficial:
Member or leading role in an international organization, or a constant speaker in international standard forums, or who has published books or thesis in the solution domain; has clear understanding and judgment of the trend of the convergence of the Internet application and the telecom network.
Profound understanding of the current situation and evolution trend of architecture (partial or whole) and key technologies of E2E solutions of industry-leading carriers and vendors; better with proven track record of successful experience of requirement analysis and architecture design of E2E solutions.
Outstanding innovation capability that enables the discovery and breakthrough of latest key technologies, whether proven to be successful through research papers or prototypes, included in the proposal of the future development of solutions.
Excellent understanding of network solution architecture; proficient with architecture design methodology; profound understanding of industry-mature design models and business models and a proven track record of successfully implementing these models in the system desi
