www.cargotec.com.Hiab is now looking for an IP Manager. We offer an important position in a global and strong R&D environment for an experienced engineer to lead and develop the IP field for Hiab innovations.
The job responsibilities include:
• Further develop Hiab's IPR-strategy
• Take the lead of IPR-operations in all Hiab Business Lines, together with R&D Heads, Product Managers, and Business Managers
• Be the main channel to our Patent Attorneys
• Own and improve the defensive and offensive IPR-processes
• Improve accessibility and awareness current patents and other IPR
Your main target is to maximize the business value of Hiab innovation portfolio, and minimize the impact of extrinsic IPR.
The placement of the position is preferably Hudiksvall, Sweden, but Stockholm can also be discussed for the right candidate. The position include travelling to some extent.
Our expectations:
In order to be successful in this position we believe you fulfill the following criteria:
• M.Sc Engineering, Industrial Design or other similar / relevant field.
• Strong analytical skills
• Genuine interest in IP-matters, IP-law, inventions and innovations
• Strong documentation skills
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Good leadership skills
• Very good communicator and relationship builder
• Full proficiency in spoken and written English
